Kids Across the Nation Will Rejoice
On July 28th, Congress passed a bill which will extend daylight savings time by one month, reports the AP
The plan intends to begin daylight savings hours 3 weeks earlier in the spring, and to end 1 week later in November. And so, more sun-shiney days ahead.
Naturally, we cannot look forward to the additional daylight hours anytime soon. The change (which was originally approved
at two extra month's of daylight) will supposedly take place in March 2007; allowing airlines, energy companies, and anti-depressant pharmaceuticals ample time to pay off congressman and push for a veto of the bill.
